The useful version: paste your own draft and ask what's weak, then rewrite. The lazy version: ask for the essay and hand it in. Only the first one makes you better, and only the first one is defensible.
Every writer has tics — a word they overuse, a sentence shape they favor. AI strips those out. Put them back. A humanizer that only swaps synonyms still reads flat; the pass that restores your rhythm is what clears detectors and teachers alike.
If English isn't your first language, using a humanizer to smooth grammar is fine. Just make sure the ideas and structure are yours.
